THE MUSEUM FACTORY AS A WHOLE

Iedereen heeft ooit in zijn leven wel een stap in een museum gezet. Een museum dat je kennis laat maken met bepaalde kunstwerken of een bepaalde tijd. De Museumfabriek in Enschede is niet zo’n traditioneel museum. Het zit al niet in een typisch museumgebouw en het is geen museum waar je alleen vanaf een afstandje naar alle bijzondere objecten mag kijken. Integendeel: het is een museum waar je wordt verrast, verwonderd raakt en zelf aan de slag gaat. Daarbij kom je terecht in verschillende werelden: die van de natuur, de techniek, de kunst en de cultuur. Maar hoe laat je de collecties in samenhang zien en maak je kennis met het museum als één geheel? C4Real kreeg deze vraag en bedacht de oplossing: een unieke promotiefilm die je meeneemt door het museum en de beleving overbrengt.

By means of an atmospheric promotional film, C4Real lets you enjoy the experience of visiting the Museum Factory. From outside you are drawn inside. Full of wonder, a young visitor looks at everything on display and you join him. You walk past animals, paintings and authentic vehicles. The entire collection passes by in the promotional film. With drone technology, various cameras and a specially composed audio line, everything has been done to make the film as beautiful and professional as possible. An atmosphere was created that really suits the Museum Factory. Special attention was paid to the smooth transitions in order to make the different collections into one whole.

Through a series of brainstorming sessions, the ideas emerged of what we wanted in the promotional film. Nikki Olde Monnikhof (Head of Public at the Museum Factory) says: "It was a process in which, with the help of storyboards, it became increasingly clear what we did and did not want in the promotional film. C4Real was able to empathize with us. They were good at thinking along in the spirit of the organization and they were also open to our ideas. The cooperation was very pleasant. Nikki continues: 'Moreover, they have many different talents in their organization. For every specific question a good answer or solution came back from the relevant specialty, which was very nice.'
